If you mean expansion theres only one, eotn. If you are refering to the different campaigns, I would go with nightfall for ur second one as it allows access to heroes. However, I would strongly suggest getting the entire set if possible.

It may be cheapest, in the long run, to get either the Trilogy Pack (all 3 campaigns) or the Complete Collection (3 campaigns + Eye of the North).
But, if not, then I agree with Luminarus - get Nightfall for 2nd campaign. |

Are the campaigns stand-alone? Meaning, can i play them without the original game?
Because im thinking of buying GW Prophecies and GW: EotN. What do you guys think? |

I did what you said: I started with Prophecies, then got EotN. I just got Factions a few weeks ago because it was too cheap to pass up. |

At the top of the Q&A forum is a sticky called "For the new player on a budget" which explains the differences between the three campaigns.

ok thanks guys.... i got another question, besides the 3 campaigns and the EotN, my brother had guild wars (his giving it to me), it doesnt say prophecies or anything on the cover, just Guild Wars, he got it ages ago, when they first released GW. Should i install this too? or just Prophecies and EotN?

The original Guild Wars. the first one, was just called Guild Wars. It has since become known as Guild Wars: Prophecies. I hope that answers your question.

If it doesn't say anything on the cover, it's Prophecies, which was the first campaign.
EDIT: Whoops, didn't realise someone answered before me. Eep. Last edited by glacialphoenix; Dec 28, 2008 at 11:45 PM // 23:45.. |

Warning, though: your brother's already activated his account, which means you can't transfer it to your own. You CAN add NF and Eye of the North to his already-existing account, though. So if you start a new one with NF, you'll have to buy a separate Prophecies account so you can add it to your NF one.

The ingame store is perfectly reliable. The only annoying things in it are the "security features" which prevent credit card use in other countries, on more than 3 accounts etc.

The in-game store is reliable. Note though that they will directly add the access key to the account that accesses the store. So, access the store from your (bros) account and the Nightfall key will be added - they don't actually ship you a box or anything.
